Swing of thingsHey all,

With Camp Ling and summer full into swing, I can finally take a breather and start to (get this!) pay attention to my blogs again!  Wheee!

First, a couple of notes.  One, I’m now accepting guest postings for this site – soon you’ll see an article written by Meghan Jones of Online College Degree.  She’s going to write about tips for developing your online network….stay tuned for that!

Next, want a free site critique?

A newbie welcome thread on my forums developed into that!  Go check it out -

3 pages it turned into!  And that made me think….why not offer all of my community members the same opportunity!  Read

to find out how – it’s free!

Speaking of the forums, here are some of the great articles added to and shared:

That takes care of business….now Camp Ling!

As you might remember, Camp Ling is the summer camp I run for me kids.   This summer my kids will be building their brand online, meaning they’ll build their own websites, build their own squidoo pages and much more.  So far, it’s going well!  Honorable Daughter 1 is interested in Literature, Honorable Daughter 2 is sticking with Anime, and Honorable Son 1 wants to focus on Toontown.  Honorable Son 2 has yet to start 1st grade, so building a website is pretty difficult for him….I’m keeping him with other activities.

We’ll be adding parks and the beach and the library and all sortsof fun goodies to our activities this summer – life is quite good indeed.

And that’s been the past few days,

Barbara Ling
