And how is the world treating you today? Over here in LingLand, there are ferocious thunderstorms that are wreaking havoc across my town. Luckily, however, the power has yet to be hit….and so I can continue to blog! Yay!
But I digress. 
Tell me now, and be honest. Do you have a local niche blog…and want to achieve top 10 SEO results?
You see, I have been doing SEO now since back when Infoseek did real-time indexing of webpages (1997), and some things simply just don’t change. It’s actually quite easy to gain high visibility relatively easy for specific niche keywords! All you have to do is provide quality, worthwhile content while taking care of some common-sense design features like title tags, H1 and H2s…and the rest just follow.
Let me give you an example. Let’s say, oh, you’re a neuropsychologist and serve towns including Union, NJ (but you’re not based there, remember).
You’ll see:

I built the site of Dr. O’Desky, the first one returned.
Other local sites I’ve built rank just as high.
I don’t focus on Web 2.0, I don’t focus on flash, all I care about is writing superb content that Google and other search engines reward.
You see, the nice thing about local site SEO is that your competition is ‘way ‘way WAY different than the typical ‘make money via keyword SEO’ stuff. Instead of doing all that blasted keyword research and algorithm thingees and the like, you can focus upon simply building a superb site that ranks high naturally.

SEo is very popular in the present days why because it gives the full traffic to the particular product. Yes, in this SEO keywords are play an important role to get the traffic and sale of products.

I can’t believe Infoseek used to do real time indexing, that sounds crazy! I enjoyed your post. I agree anything niche, and you should be close to the top relatively easily, with little work on backlinks or such like.
Competitive searches though require a lot of research but the results give great satisfaction, as you’ll know, and i find the whole quite addictive!
Also when branding comes into play, i think things like Flash are important. SEO for me is about getting people to the page, and then i need my design and copywriting skills to make them buy paintings!! haha.

Yes indeed they did….I vividly remember testing out capital letters and lower-case letters and reindexing the pages each time to see what affected what. Ah, those were the days….
