Today’s Words of Wisdom - Courage consists of….

And it’s this:

Courage Consists….
Of Hanging On….
One Minute Longer

I first remember reading that phrase from an Albert Payson Terhune book back when I was a teenager. The hero of the story (a young boy) was in danger of drowning in an icy river but kept repeating to himself, "Courage consists of hanging on…one minute longer."

It’s stayed with me to this day.
