Twitter!Morning!

Have you heard of Twitter?  Yes yes, I know I know….that’s just like saying, Have you heard of coffee?  Or perhaps, have you heard of TwitterBudgies?  Or maybe even….

You get the idea, right?  Twitter is that whale-defying micro-blogging mega-world defying platform that allows you to connect with beeyons of people, fans and followers with the greatest of ease.

But, as always, an opportunity arises!  Proactively refreshing your Twitter page can get really really boring after the first 283 times you do it (sad, but true).  So!  It’s with the utmost of frolicking joy that I gather for you now the:

Ultimate List of Twitter Desktop Clients!

(and the crowd goes wild!)

First off, let’s take a gander at Mark Davidson’s list of Twitter Desktop Clients.  You’ll see goodies listed like

  • Spaz
  • TweetDeck
  • TwitterFox
  • Twitterlicious

and more.  Definitely check it his list of Twitter Desktop Clients out!

Next, mosey on over to Twitter Fan Apps!

A tastefully designed wiki, here you’ll uncover niftios like:

  • chirpscreen
  • Digsby
  • Pwytter

This page is broken up into Windows and Linux and Second Life (gotta love Twitter on Second Life!) and Postings and Alerts and …. you get the idea.  :)   Truly it’s a Twitter Desktop Client List worth visiting.

Not enough, I hear you cry?  Well then!  Get thee hence to the Official Site of Twitter Goodness, ie Twitter’s listing of apps too!  Several nice software thingees await you there as well.

And of course, if you’re a hardcore hacker like yours truly, you can always check out the Twitter API and build your own.  After all, you can never have enough tweets in your life.  :)

Enjoy,

Barbara Ling

I discovered TweetDeck not long ago and have been using it ever since. I’ve used Twhirl also. But TweekDeck is nice because you can create groups, which helps me keep an eye on those I really enjoy following. Great post. Great information for us Twitterers, especially the newbies.
