Did you even *realize* you could seo your videos?

It’s true!

And here’s 3 nfity tips on how to do this.


NOTE!Video SEO Tip #1.)  Make Your Title Intrigue!

And I’m not talking about the usual emotional headline analyzer, or smashing up a zillion niche keywords in your title.

Did you realize that (I hope you’re sitting down for this) it’s *people* who will click on your videos when searching within YouTube?

So, it makes not a darned bit of difference if you rank #1 and nobody clicks!

Thus, you want to ensure your title grabs the potential viewer by the earlobes and flaps them up and down.

For example, let’s say you made a marketing video about how to find the best possible affiliate programs for *you*.  Yes, this is called “foreshadowing”.  🙂

You wouldn’t call the video:

  • How to find the best affiliate programs for you.

Well, you *might*.  But doesn’t

  • Sure-Fire Tip for picking the most *profitable* affiliate programs
  • Profitable affiliate programs that are *now* within your reach – how to find

sound a weeee bit better?

Hmmmmm?


NOTE!Video SEO Tip #2 – give your viewer a call to action in your description

Videos rank not only because of technical thingees like SEO, but also because of how many times a video has been viewed, how many times it’s been shared and the like.

And the best way to increase your views is to ask your video viewer to rate/share it with their friends!

Make your description engaging and fun to read…and ideally include a link for viewers to find more information by visiting your site/affiliate link/etc. directly.


NOTE!Video SEO Tip #3 – blog about your video *and* encourage inbound links

Think about  videos for a sec.

You can find them on Youtube, right?

But…you can also see videos rank in search engine results too, right?

Thus…write a fantastic blog post that centers around your video and embeds your video as well.

But go one step further…

Transcribe (ie, write the dialogue of) your video on that blog post for even more SEO!

Think about it – you’ll end up with a blog post that is both

  • Replete with keywords

and

  • Showcases *your* video first and foremost.

It’s a definite win-win!
