Ah yes, it’s Saturday!
Well, not quite – its 8:30pm on Friday.
Happily working on my Saturday newsletter.
Today was quite the NOT gym BUT….
… after an earlier nap, I found myself filled with 140% powered up energy and completed several sales pages plus blueprints plus… a whole bunch o ‘goodness!
And I will admit – I’ve had the BEST parts of the below (starts at 0:55) on repeat during all that work and OMG it has been SO inspiring! (especially the line, Take my hand! (i’ve included it in my sales copy…)
YOU ARE MORTAL! HOW!!!!
Told that to my husband during dinner. 🙂
We went out for dinner and I wrote:
“One of the greatest joys in life – going out to dinner with one’s spouse and being able to discuss where either I or he dropped the ball during the past 25 years, what we could have done better, what we could have done worse….
… and realizing that we sure did make the right choice when we got married 25 years ago.”
It’s SO true!

Ah yes, Thursday!
Well, not quite – its 10:30pm on Wednesday.
Yep, screwed up massively on my sleep, so wah.
But I’ll take ownership of my blahness. Thing is, it’s keeping me up today!
Oh well.
Yesterday besides me sleeping a bazillion years saw me completing some good writing for business, and I also stepped outside my Happy Little marketing Bubble.
Wow was THAT a mistake!
Here’s what I updated:
=-=-= Eeek! Life OUTSIDE the Happy Little Marketing Bubble =-=-=
In my neverEnding quest to amuse myself while my legs decided to allow me sleep… I stepped outside of my happy little marketing bubble, perused the latest of FB and what did my little eyes spy?
A MASSIVE heap ‘o comments about some of our colleagues behaving more like schoolyard bullies instead of like calm, rational adults who have (gasp!) a difference of opinions.
It’s baffling (it truly is) how some people in our niche feel emboldened to simply be a tweeblehead and act as though their opinions *mattered* in the grand scheme of things.
Folks, life is short. Too short at times. And hugely random. You never know when you might be hit by a low-flying asteroid and BOOM!
You *will not* wake up above ground tomorrow…
*You just won’t wake up at all.*
Your time is *over*… and all that’s left of you (kinda sorta) are the memories people have of you.
If I have extra energy, I devote that to folks I love.
If people are rude or a jerk to me or people I value, I unfriend. Perhaps I block. It’s *very* rare when I will respond to any sort of negative action directed to me; the people who tweebleate are just not worthy of rent-free space in my mind.
Your takeaway?
==> Be the kind of person who is proud of themself when they see themself in the mirror.
Be the kind of person your dog or Beak of Doom or Feline Moose expect you to be.
Be the kind of person that would make your kids proud to say, hey! That’s my parent!

At… 12:20am. Wibblehead.
Yep, had the great idea of going to bed early to get up at 3am to start writing. Woohoo! Big huge goal!
Went to bed at 7:45pm.
Realized at 8:30pm, my legs were yelling bigtime at me… so figured, okay, wait until I can fall asleep.
At 11:50pm, finally gave that up as a rather, dare I say, not happening idea.
Sigh.
Hang on, if I’m writing… must make coffee.
Back again.

Ah yes (I’m now waiting for coffee to re-heat on stovetop).

Ah!
Wednesday!
Yes it is Wednesday, it surely is.
Had a grand exercise with the husband and also driving to the mechanic (excitement, thy name is Ling!). During that time, a leaf (we think) got caught in the husband car fan (I mean, how MORE exciting can you get?) and the mechanic reassured us that yes, it is probably a leaf.
Seriously. This is epic novel thriller stuff. Perhaps the Rock would like to star in it!
But I digress again! 🙂
In other Lingland news, in the marketing niche niche, there’s been a whole slew of really bullying things going on. So I wrote:
